The 70th infa was opened on the evening before the first day of the trade fair by Minister President Stephan Weil, who described infa as a trade fair “where visitors come in a good mood and leave in an even better mood.”
Klaudia Kohl, Head of the Consumer Shows Department at Deutsche Messe AG: “infa once again impressed as a major entertainment trade fair that has so much more to offer than just a shopping experience. infa is a traditional trade fair that has become an integral part of Germany, but at the same time is constantly reinventing itself. That's why it is fresher and more colorful than ever in its 70th year.”
In total, there were around 450 program items over nine days this year. From walk acts to workshops, from product presentations to readings and show interludes. This year's participants included well-known TV stars such as Hinnerk Baumgarten and Björn Kroner, authors such as Max Bentow and Susanne Mischke, entertainers such as magician Desimo, singer Juliano Rossi and musicians from the Jazz Club Hannover.
The highlights of infa also included the short events infalino , infa regional and the large hobby show infa kreativ .
