The "Kräuterkutscher" was founded by Alexander Grünbergs in 2012. Initially on the road at smaller weekly markets and medieval markets.
Some products were supplied by the company "Gewürze und Heilkräuter Heiko Wilshusen". It soon became clear that the "herb coachman" needed more goods than Wilshusen could stock in addition to his shop in Bremen.
Wilshusen and Grünbergs sat down together and discussed their further cooperation. Since Wilshusen was planning a vegan sales stand, the idea came up that Grünbergs should take over "Spices and Medicinal Herbs" and continue to run the business under his management.
After a few sleepless nights, the decision was made in favour of the idea. There was a visual separation of the "Kräuterkutscher", which henceforth only sets up at medieval markets, and "Gewürze und Heilkräuter Alex Grünbergs", whose packaging can be found at civilian markets.
